Jeremiah: 24:6
“For I will set My eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land; I will build them and not pull them down, and I will plant them and not pluck them up.”
God who created our inner most being knows our very thoughts and is aware of our weaknesses. He is an Omniscient God, who knows all and sees all. He knows the time we faulter and when walk away from Him. It pains Him, when we go astray from His righteous paths. When we faulter, like a Father, He is displeased with us and corrects us. But as David says: His anger is, but for a moment and His favour is for life. He brings us back to Him and He restores us back His love. Love that is so great, that no pen or tongue can ever express. It goes beyond the skies and reaches to the lowest hell.
Here we see that God was angry with His Children, for the sins that they committed and let them be carried away into captivity. But the change of heart of His children, made Him have mercy on them. His eyes of omniscience made Him look at them with Grace and mercy. Similarly, when we return to Him, He comes to us, as a rain in a parched land.
God draws nigh to take care of us in the furnace of affliction. He comes to defend and deliver us from our troubles. God is pleased with us when we voluntarily submit to His chastening. He restores us and establishes us securely in His blessings.
