John 17:23
“I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one.”
Christ is omnipresent. This verse talks about Christian unity and gives two purposes for unity among the followers of Christ. The first purpose is that the believers should be mature in unity and the next thing is that the world needs to be exposed to the love of Christ. The oneness does not come from believers themselves, but from their relationship with the body of Christ. God requires us to love others more because there is a need to grow in grace and unity.
